Dr. Carlos Campodonico was asked by Dr. Milnar, the clinical director at Arden Dental, to join the experienced staff to provide dental care based on our similar philosophies and conservative dental principles.
Dr. Campodonico graduated from the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, the most prestigious dental school in Peru. He was a Clinical Instructor and later an Auxiliary Professor at the University for eight years. Since 2006 he has completed more than 400 continuum education hours in several areas of dentistry including Endodontics (root canals), Cosmetic Dentistry, Occlusion and Tempromandibular disorders (TMD bite problems), Periodontics (gum disease), and Dental Implants. In addition he graduated from the Post-graduate program in Esthetic Dentistry Levels I and II. Finally, he has completed the prestigious Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Campodonico offers comprehensive family and cosmetic dentistry using the latest materials and techniques. For instance, he uses the Diagnodent for early caries detection and the intra-oral camera for an accurate diagnosis. An area of particular concern is for the dental health of children and will be continuing his education in Pediatric dentistry in 2011 at the university of Minnesota.
He was selected by the Consumer’s research council of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists” for 2009 and 2010, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry.
When he's not fixing teeth he enjoys playing soccer, practicing Karate and spending time with his wife, three children, family and friends.
